Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Unit

Are you a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) seeking a new opportunity in medical-surgical nursing? Look no further! CTTX Health is currently hiring for a full-time Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

As a Medical Surgical RN, you will provide direct patient care, administer medication, and assist in the recovery process of patients admitted to the medical-surgical unit. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Valid RN license in the state of practice.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical surgical nursing.

  • BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.

  • Excellent clinical skills and ability to handle a diverse patient population.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience using electronic medical records systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessing patients, administering medication, and documenting patient information.

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.

  • Monitor, record, and report changes in patients' conditions.

  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans.

  • Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of patient information.

  • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following infection control and safety protocols.

  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager or supervising physician.
