Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Unit
Are you a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) seeking a new opportunity in medical-surgical nursing? Look no further! CTTX Health is currently hiring for a full-time Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
As a Medical Surgical RN, you will provide direct patient care, administer medication, and assist in the recovery process of patients admitted to the medical-surgical unit. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience
Valid RN license in the state of practice.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical surgical nursing.
BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
Excellent clinical skills and ability to handle a diverse patient population.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience using electronic medical records systems.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, including assessing patients, administering medication, and documenting patient information.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
Monitor, record, and report changes in patients' conditions.
Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans.
Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of patient information.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following infection control and safety protocols.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager or supervising physician.
