Chromalloy is an international technology company specialized in innovative solutions in the field of gas turbine engines. Chromalloy is one of the world’s largest non-OEM providers of advanced coatings, repairs and replacement parts for gas turbine engines. We are the only non-OEM provider in the world that offers coatings, repairs, production and revision from a single source. Chromalloy is some 4000 employees strong and works on new solutions daily, for customers’ products in Aero-, Military- and industrial Gas Turbines. Chromalloy Tilburg is a site with ca. 190 colleagues.

What are you going to do?

As an Engineer with Chromalloy, you’ll be working in a very diverse and highly technical environment. Our product and solution scope only tolerate the highest quality of work and we are improving upon our processes daily. Together with the Operations department you work to overcome challenges in the production environment, ranging from implementing new techniques and machines, to instances related to meeting our deadlines. You have a keen understanding of the techniques, materials and business demands to make that work. You are a crucial linking pin between Operations, Customers and other (internal) stakeholders, working with great attention to detail whilst keeping everybody up to speed on progress.

Within Chromalloy Holland, the role of a Chromalloy engineer is broad and critical to many steps in our Operations department, such as providing technical support, process optimization, business case support and improving upon (manufacturing) operations. Your attitude is vital in this role. We are looking for a proactive, inquisitive person to help us challenge the status quo. We are not looking for a follower, but an initiator. By driving change and innovation with a solution-focused mindset you are able to lead the way in creative and sustainable improvements in our daily operations.

Who are you?

  • You have an Engineering background (HTS, WTB) with experience in metalworking such as 3 & 5 axis CNC grinding & EDM.

  • A very keen understanding of working with (complex) software suites, including Siemens NX, MS Office, FrameMaker & DCS

  • A people person that can connect with all different levels of the organization because of an extraordinary set of communication skills

  • A driver, a motivator, and an initiator, willing to go the extra mile and ask the right set of questions

  • You have experience in optimizing business processes (5S, Lean, DMAIC)

  • As all our documentation is in English, your English is fluent in both reading and writing
