Job Description

Position: quality control laboratory intern The Contract Technician is a short-term appointment (2-5 months) reporting directly to the Quality Control Manager with matrix reporting to the department's supervisors. This role will complete the specified laboratory support tasks in compliance with cGMP regulations in a safe and timely manner. This position plays a meaningful role in the performance of appropriate laboratory tasks including GLP-level documentation to ensure data traceability and integrity. The role will involve critical projects within the following department: Quality control The role will mainly focus on the testing and reporting of basic laboratory tests, most of the testing responsibility will be Physical analyses of the finished product samples (hardness, fill weight determination, disintegration tests, dimensions, appearance testing, and reporting of the stability results into the appropriate quality systems. This person should have a good understanding of good laboratory practices and the ability to work safely both for themselves and others. Education • Ongoing MBO level education in laboratory operations Experience • 1-2 years relevant working experience, preferably 1-2 successful internship projects; • Working knowledge of basic laboratory techniques and MS Office software for documentation and data processing Knowledge, skills, abilities • Able to provide examples of the use of individual initiative, effective communication, and interpersonal skills especially in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment. • Demonstrated ability to run basic laboratory projects and deliver results safely and on time. • Uphold the core values of the company: integrity, critical thinking, teamwork, credibility, and continuous learning.
