At the Tijuana IT Center of Excellence, you will be part of a SCRUM team that can deliver robust software solutions for multiple Business

Partners of our Digital Marketing division.

In your role as Software Engineer, you will play a significant role as a member of an Agile SCRUM team that creates world-class digital

merchandising experiences for our customers around the globe. You will:

• Collaborate with your team to plan and complete software features for new and existing products.

Work closely with Product Managers, Product Owner, Scrum Master and Architects to design, develop, unit test, debug and

maintain our Digital Marketing applications, services, and infrastructures.

•Use your skills to develop software that not only looks great, and customers enjoy using it in their day-to-day work, but also is

robust and follows the best coding and quality standards and customers trust our applications.

•Use your technical skills to develop applications and infrastructure that support code reuse and modern technologies

integration.

•You will also have the opportunity to share your knowledge with a group of over 160 Software Engineers of all backgrounds. And you will be

exposed to the science and technology that is helping us achieve our company's mission.

How will you get here?

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent Engineering disciplines.

Experience

• 5+ Years of strong and robust Web Application development using Java & J2EE and Web Technologies.

• Good experience with code automated testing.

• Good verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish).

Backend Skills

• 5+ Years of strong and robust Java & J2EE and Web technologies working experience.

• 3+ Years of experience with frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, JPA.

• Micro services development, build and deployment experience with CI/CD build pipelines.

• Good database experience like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, DynamoDB.

• Good experience with NodeJS applications.

Frontend Skills

• 5+ Years of experience working with Web 2.0 technologies: OO Javascript, AJAX, JS Libraries (Angular, React, jQuery, etc).

• Good experience of UI/UX development: CSS, LESS, SCSS, Bootstrap.

• Good understanding of cross-browser compatibility.

Testing Skills

• Good experience and enthusiasm around testing.

• Java Unit Testing and Mocks frameworks (JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, PowerMock).

Additional Skills

• Experience with cloud-based applications leveraging AWS.

• Experience with Digital Marketing Adobe technologies like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.0+) and Adobe Target.

• Good understanding of CI/CD and DevOps is a plus.

• Proactive and ability to learn quickly.

• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities with a solid understanding of diverse environments and components.
