Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

What your background should look like:

ACTIVITIES:

•Assure compliance with appropriate Environmental, Health and Safety practices and collaborate as a SAFE element owner

•Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of a comprehensive TPM program across the organization.

•Foster a culture of ownership and accountability for equipment care by empowering operators through Autonomous Maintenance practices.

•Develop and oversee a robust Preventive Maintenance (PM) program, including work order creation, scheduling, and completion tracking.

•Implement Predictive Maintenance (PdM) strategies to identify and address potential equipment failures before they occur.

•Analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement and lead efforts to optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

•Manage the maintenance budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost control.

•Oversee the maintenance team, including performance management, training and development, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

•Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless equipment operation and integrate maintenance activities into the overall production process.

•Develop and maintain a comprehensive inventory of spare parts and tools to minimize downtime in the event of equipment failure.

•Drive a culture of continuous improvement through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and problem-solving methodologies like Kaizen.

•Prepare and deliver reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and program effectiveness to senior management.

REQUIREMENTS:

•Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field (preferred).

•Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment.

•Proven experience in implementing and leading a successful TPM program.

•In-depth knowledge of Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) practices.

•Strong understanding of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and other relevant maintenance metrics.

•Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

•Ability to build strong relationships and foster collaboration across departments.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

•Data-driven approach to decision making.

•Commitment to safety and a proven ability to maintain a safe work environment.

•Desirable with working knowledge of mechanical design, HVAC, Air compressors, Servo, motors AC/DC, metrology, machine controls.

•Experience with Lean/Six Sigma principles
