Today with more than 80 employees and a management team in place that has over 100 years of experience, JB Roofing Co has positioned the company for continued growth for decades to come while increasing the quality of services We are seeking a Commercial Roofing Project Manager for our Tiffin, OH. location. The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate projects, ensuring that all related tasks are executed efficiently and cost-effectively, adhering to established plans and specifications, company policies, procedures, and sound roofing practices. Job Functions: Provide project manager services for multiple projects running concurrently Provide functional direction over areas of responsibility including construction schedules, cost control in relation to budget, dispute resolution, and quality control Support negotiation of design-build construction contracts and negotiate subcontracts Request and review purchase orders, subcontracts, AIA, and other agreements/documents Engage in construction-related issues, disputes and disagreements Coordinate and direct field staff relative to construction project requirements. Compose and draft all change orders from assigned projects and assesses their impact on budget. Review with Production Director. Review status and monitor the project relative to scheduling and cost controls Review and verify applications for payment. Ensure that all work has obtained approval thru written directive from all relevant parties including all required governmental agencies. Ensure the issuance and maintenance of contractor's insurance, and work permits from administration. Participate in hand off meeting between estimation and sales if applicable. Become thoroughly knowledgeable with the project's contract documents, drawings, specifications and scope of work Conduct site visits as required to monitor construction progress, schedule, plan, and specification compliance with contract, construction documents, and manufacturers requirements Track and assure the review and approval of submittals, and shop drawings prior to start. the preparation and transmittal of the owner's comments to include consultants. Compare to specification and manufacturers requirements. File all drawing logs, submittals, samples, and all other correspondence of projects in the job file. Review, manage, and approve invoices, requisitions, and other bills to ensure their accuracy and when payments are due. Review and manage change order work scope and schedule Contribute to reporting at month end, WIP and cost to complete for management forecasts as it relates to cost and revenue. Performs other related duties as assigned.
