Position: Electrician

Location: Three Rivers, MI, 49093

Duration: 12 months contract with higher extension possibilities

Shift: 2nd or 3rd shift. (2nd shift: 2PM - 10PM; 3rd shift: 10PM - 6AM

 

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking experienced Manufacturing Electricians to join our team at AAM Three Rivers, a CNC Machining facility. The ideal candidate will possess a Journeyman's card or have at least 7 years of direct electrician experience, with a strong background in manufacturing environments. Candidates must have hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment rather than facilities maintenance tasks. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electrical work exclusively on machines within the manufacturing environment.
  • Perform industrial maintenance tasks, focusing on electrical maintenance across various voltage levels, including high voltage (medium voltage), 480V, 120V, down to 24 volt DC circuitry.
  • Utilize PLC experience, with a preference for proficiency in Allen Bradley systems, to troubleshoot and maintain machinery.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with Program Frequency Drives parameters, collaborating with control engineers when necessary.
  • Utilize CNC experience, particularly with Fanuc and Siemens controllers, to perform point wire tasks on CNC machines.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with PLCs, CNCs, Frequency Drives, motors, and associated circuitry, providing effective solutions.
  • Troubleshoot a wide range of electrical components and systems, including proximity switches, light screens, safety circuits, cables, Ethernet and communication issues, relays, etc.

Experience Preferred:

  • Automotive industry experience preferred Experience with Fanuc and Siemens controllers on CNC machines preferred.
