Global Value & Access Senior Manager, LATAM


What you will do

The Value and Access Senior manager for LATAM region will be an important member of Global Operational Pricing team within the Global Value & Access organization. The Global Operational Pricing team focuses execution to optimize and maintain value despite the ongoing pricing pressures and supports post launch for large and ROW markets to ensure connectivity, accountability and cross market findings.

Reporting to Global Value & Access Director for LATAM region, this senior manager will be mainly responsible for access support and pricing governance for LATAM markets across the portfolio (Oncology, Bone Health, Cardiology, Biosimilars, etc). This individual will work collaboratively across affiliates/distributors and other functions to ensure comprehensive input is gathered within the scope of his/her assigned responsibilities and create/maintain strong collaborative working relationships with key partners. These partners include Pricing and Access colleagues in each affiliate, as well as ASLs in IAS team and Operational Pricing team.

The selected applicant may work remotely to support the LATAM region as long as their chosen work site is compatible with customer time zones and they have sufficient infrastructure to support remote working.


Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide the access support to LATAM markets focusing on execution closely working with Access Strategy Leads in Integrated Access team and HEOR team as needed

  • Provide the strategic input on budget and LRS assumption for LATAM markets in access perspective and take a responsibility for consolidation of access assumption

  • Closely monitor access status of LATAM markets and build the access database to provide the support for quarterly price and access dashboards

  • Review pricing proposal and support country team to develop solid business case with a clear understanding on country specific situation and brand pricing strategy

  • Manage pricing governance process checking key determining criteria and assign the case to the right approval authority

  • Vendor/consultant management as appropriate

  • Lead regular training for business case development, pricing governance process and use of pricing tools

  • Facilitate HTA strategy review/approval of new product launches and life cycle indications

  • Continuously monitor pricing and access environment, build and update healthcare environment document for WEMEA countries and provide insights to country affiliates on global evolvement


What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of market access, HEOR, marketing, pricing, business development and/or analytics experience


Master’s degree and 4 years of market access, HEOR, marketing, pricing, business development and/or analytics experience


Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of market access, HEOR, marketing, pricing, business development and/or analytics experience


Associate’s degree and 10 years of market access, HEOR, marketing, pricing, business development and/or analytics experience


High school diploma / GED and 12 years of market access, HEOR, marketing, pricing, business development and/or analytics experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to understand, develop and communicate scientific based strategies and messages

Deep and consolidated knowledge around market access and payer process across countries especially on major HTA markets

Clear understanding of how to best put patients’ needs while also achieving commercial and business objectives with a strong pricing, access and commercial sense to understand different healthcare environment and commercial model

Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment with high emotional intelligence coping with pressures and demands that can be arisen from time-sensitive tasks

Attitude to embrace complexed situation and passion to improve continuously

Excellent verbal, written communication skills with a clear articulation on the situation and solution

Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with a range of partners
