SUMMARY: Maintain outside environment, school district facilities and minor equipment in a safe manner. This position may be eligible for benefits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.   1. Mows, trims and maintains turf, and Facilities.

  2. Plants, trims, and maintains trees.

  3. Performs minor facility preventative maintenance, including filter changes

  4. Assists trades with facility maintenance.

  5. Controls weeds, picks up trash.

  6. Plants sod.

  7. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Must be a minimum of 16 years old.

• Must currently be in high school or have a high school diploma or equivalent.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS or CERTIFICATIONS:

• Criminal background check required for hire.

• Valid Colorado driver’s license with acceptable MVR preferred.

• Ability to successfully complete a pre-hire, post-offer physical examination.
