DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you are responsible for performing clerical functions related to the LIHEAP (Low Income Heating Energy Assistance Program) administered by the Chester County Assistance Office. While performing clerical and office-related tasks, you will be adhering to office protocols and utilizing appropriate systems. Additionally, you will communicate with the public in a polite and professional manner, whether in person or over the phone. Basic computer skills will be essential for tasks such as data entry, customer service, scanning, filing, answering calls, and managing mail. Your job duties are carried out under the general supervision of a Clerical Supervisor.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Seasonal Full-time employment The Department of Human Services provides excellent benefits, contractual pay increases, paid holidays and leave entitlements, opportunity for advancement and shift selection in addition to a great work environment. Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch This position requires travel and overtime as needed. Assigned duties are performed in a controlled office environment.  In counties with District Offices, employees may be reassigned to different work sites due to operational needs. Reassignments will be made in compliance with contract language. You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); or Graduation from high school; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
