Allied Mineral Products Europe is a subsidiary of an American company. Worldwide we have offices in North and South America, China, India, South Africa and Europe. We produce refractory materials that are used in furnaces for melting and liquefying metals. Our customers are producers of steel, copper, aluminum and iron.

Are you the colleague we are looking for in the position of:

Sales & Service Representative France

As the incumbent in this position, you'll assume comprehensive accountability for sales and service operations, primarily focusing on France (or other designated regions outlined by management). Your key duties encompass sustaining and amplifying the sales of Allied Mineral Products while upholding a robust presence, providing unwavering service support, and actively engaging within the industry.

Key Duties:

  • Promote, introduce, demonstrate, and secure orders for Allied’s products;

  • Offer technical recommendations to customers and distributors as necessary;

  • Regularly follow up on competitive activity, product performance, and adherence to procedures for assigned accounts;

  • Maintain a constant and consistent presence with line personnel and supervisors at assigned accounts;

  • Provide comprehensive service to all accounts, including installation, troubleshooting, and addressing complaints;

  • Conduct necessary calls on customers, potential customers, and cold leads to maximize sales;

  • Complete and submit call reports promptly, ensuring clear and accurate transmission of information;

  • Determine appropriate follow-up actions and implement them accordingly;

  • Report sales activities and outcomes to the Regional Manager.

Qualifications:

  • An Associate's Degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial technology, engineering technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience is desired;

  • Comes from the refractory, foundry or aluminum industry;

  • Requires solid communication, interpersonal skill and self-motivation;

  • Fluent in English and French, verbal and in writing;

  • Ability to work from a home-based office;

  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout designated territories, spending approximately 60% of working time on the road.
