Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead in a team of self-motivated engineers in Developing embedded IVI application on Cortex-A based target SoC using platform SDK

  • Take ownership of assigned responsibilities, flexible with work timings, attend and contribute to technical discussions.

  • Read and understand design notes/discussions

  • Develop/Port components to meet the requirements

  • Conduct self-review and peer review of work in the project

  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

  • Good in C/C++ programming

  • Experience working in developing embedded IVI application on an embedded platform SDK

  • Experience working in image signal processing, image processing, image rendering etc.

  • Experience working in various Hardware Accelerators

  • Experience working in multi OS environment and inter core communication (Apps and RT domain), also experience in hypervisor a plus

  • Experience working in embedded programming on multi core DSP for ADAS/IVI

  • Good understanding of safety coding standards such as MISRA, ASIL etc.

  • Good knowledge of ARM based hardware and the various peripheral devices

  • Deep understanding of Embedded/Realtime OS (Linux, Android, QNX etc.), OSAL, drivers and strategies of task and process allocation across hardware resources (CPU, GPU, Audio DSP Other Cores etc.)

  • Analytical, problem solving and debugging skills.

  • Good to have experience integrating Android Auto or Apple Carplay services

  • Development and integration of connectivity services such as Bluetooth,Wi-Fi, Network Attached Device (NAD)

  • Good to have experience in design and development of platform/BSP/middleware/HMI components for Cockpit/IVI/Cluster

  • Essential Skills

  • Good knowledge on camera, video and display drivers and controllers

  • Working knowledge on automated infrastructure like gitlab

  • Good knowledge on IPC and thread programming.

  • Good knowledge of OpenCV and OpenGL

  • Good knowledge in yocto build environment

  • Good knowledge of IVI use cases, features and functionality DMS, 360 View, Front Camera Apps etc.

  • Knowledge on R-car, Multisensor, OSS licenses is desirable

  • Knowledge in Wayland composition is a plus
