Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Team Lead responsible for Android HAL(HIDL/AIDL) design development and porting.

  • Guide and mentor, the technical members to deliver commitments on time with Quality.

  • Interact with customer on the project technical aspects and prepare and present the project technical progress.

  • Co-ordinate and collaborate with onsite support members and communicate the requirements to the offshore team.

  • Predict project risks and develop mitigation plans.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

  • Good Experience in Android architecture and AAOS.

  • Experience in Porting/migrating Android system to new SoC/System

  • Experience in Bootloader, Linux Internals, Linux BSP and driver development

  • Android HAL experience (Implementation, Porting)

  • Experience with vehicle HAL

  • Experience designing, implementing, integrating, testing, and supporting development/porting of Android/Linux platform

Desired Skill

Good Experience in Android architecture and Android Automotive OS.

Experience in Porting/migrating Android HAL(HIDL/AIDL) to new SoC/System

Good programming skill in C++ and C.

Android HAL(HIDL/AIDL) experience (Implementation, Porting)

  1. Graphics HAL & Graphics framework

  2. Multimedia Framework and Audio/Video HAL

  3. Security

  4. Camera HAL (low priority)

  5. Connectivity (WiFi, Bluetooth etc.)

Experience with vehicle HAL

Experience designing, implementing, integrating, testing, and supporting development/porting of Android HAL.

Good debugging skill

Android/Linux Kernel & BSP (Good to have)
