The Global Services Location EMEA, based in Belgrade, is serving the regions Western Europe, Middle East and Africa as an internal service provider, being responsible for the handling and execution of operational tasks within the organization. The GS EMEA’s satellite is based in Thessaloniki, Greece and was founded in 2016. We perform global and standardized processes, mainly back office tasks for the internal customers, we employ more than 450 employees and we are now seeking for our company in Thessaloniki, the below role.

Your Role

The primary function of the role is to oversee and manage all core Human Resource functions and activities to ensure that all external regulations and internal processes are complied with at all times. Additionally, this role ensures that the delivery of HR support duties, policies, and programs is aligned with and supports the global HR goals and strategy.

Your Responsibilities

  • Consult and support GS and local bussiness regarding HR topics

  • Collaborate with the business + key specialist functions to design and implement HR road-map to support delivery of key performance indicators

  • Support in implementation and development in GS, business support to GS management in organizational effectivity, performances, issues in development and change management

  • Coach/advise managers on effective management of performance in liaison with specialists as required

  • Ensure that best practice talent sourcing methods are used to secure the right candidates. Prepare and update the recruitment strategy in line with the Global Services Corporate and Local strategic objectives

  • Create and implement a learning and development program in conjunction with relevant specialists that addresses employee needs in accordance with business requirements

  • Ensure performance management processes are fully implemented,seas quality performance reviews, succession panels and performance improvement measures as required up to and including disciplinary measures

  • Ensure compliance with all employment and OHS practices, policies and legislation

  • Conduct, guide and monitor employees, plan workforce, employment, employees` development and education

  • Support and implementation of actual and future business needs through development, engagement, planning and keeping employees` motivation and human resources preservation

  • Ensure efficient and effective administration of human resources in accordance with the requirements of local regulations and KN guidelines

  • Ensures the application of legal regulations in the management of human resources

  • Ensure compliance with all employment and occupational health practices, policies and laws

  • Ensureand act in accordance with procedures, instructions, and standards of theEmployer and Kuehne+Nagel Company and all legal regulations, especially Code ofConduct and other Employer`s general and individual acts

Your Skills and Experiences

  • College Degree (VI degree)

  • More than 5 years experience in HR managerial level

  • Excellent knowledge and command of English language

  • Management of interpersonal relations at all levels of the company

  • Substantial and detailed understanding of human resource management and its connection to business strategy and operations

  • Knowledge of European HR practice

  • Knowledge of local labor law and social legislation

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Experience as an HR manager responsible for a shared service center is considered a plus

  • Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders

  • Proven ability to consistently deliver results with a strong work ethic

  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to develop effective solutions

  • Driver's license B category
