OVERVIEW

Gulf Coast Underground is seeking a skilled & versatile Fleet Mechanic to join our team! This position is crucial to maintaining the operational readiness of our diverse fleet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing and repairing various types of vehicles and mobile equipment, and a willingness to travel to job sites on a weekly basis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspection and repairs on a wide range of vehicles and equipment, including but not limited to: trucks, heavy machinery & specialized vehicles.

  • Diagnose & troubleshoot mechanical issues to determine the most effective and efficient repair solutions.

  • Travel when and where needed to provide on-site maintenance and repairs

  • Adhere to al safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years of mechanical experience

  • Demonstrated ability to service, diagnose and repair various types of vehicles

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment

  • Willingness to travel to Jobe sites on a weekly basis: TRAVEL REQUIRED: 90%

  • CDL PREFERRED, NOT REQUIRED

    This position is local position (Theodore, AL) and candidate must be willing to travel weekly to varies sites. Pay is DOE (Depends On Experience).
