Axiom Medical Business Development Representative in The Woodlands, Texas

Duties:                       

The Business Development Rep (“BDR”) is an integral member of Axiom’s Marketing (“Marketing”). The BDR will play a key role in business development activities, working closely with Sales and Marketing to target accounts aligned with our Ideal Customer Profile. The objective will be to increase opportunities and revenue while building long-term relationships with prospects and existing clients. The BDR will work to drive new cross-sell/up-sell opportunities; increase client retention and maximize average contract value. The BDR will be responsible for understanding Axiom products, content and messaging strategy, ideal customer profile, and personas to deliver sales enablement and pipeline generation. The BDR will be accountable for qualifying leads, producing monthly management reports and supporting client service and marketing activities to build long-term trusting relationships with clients and prospects. Additionally, the BDR will have other duties and responsibilities as determined from time to time by the Demand Generation Team Lead. 

Essential Functions: 

The essential functions of the BDR are to:

  • Qualifying leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities

  • Present Axiom services to potential clients in a professional, friendly manner

  • Contact potential clients through calls and emails

  • Identify prospect needs and suggest appropriate products/services

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

  • Track, analyze and report on campaign performance

  • Handoff and follow up on qualified leads to Sales

  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Sales Executives

  • Stay up to date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

    Qualifications:

    The successful candidate should have a combination of demonstrated experience and education that is equivalent to 3 years with a focus on business development or related fields.

    Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach,

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work,

  • Light to moderate lifting is required,

  • Ability to uphold the stress of traveling,

  • Regular, predictable attendance is required.

    Additional Information:

    Must be willing to travel up to 10%.
