Job Summary: 

We are currentlyseekingto hire a qualified and experienced Assistant Tax Manager, based in The Hague (Netherlands).

You willbe responsible fortax compliance and tax planning implementation for operations in the Netherlands. Responsibilities are for all tax related matters including income tax, VAT, employment taxes and transfer pricing matters along with other tax compliance tasks.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Review local fiscal accounts and Prepare / File tax returns in compliance with local regulations (in liaison with the tax advisor).

  • Support Netherlands operations with specific tax queries (CIT, VAT, PIT, etc.).

  • Support on implementation of process improvementfor tax compliance process.

  • Support the NL finance function in tax numbers andcalculations.

  • Handling of tax certificate requests and likewise fromoperations.

  • Preparation / review / submission of internal management reports.

  • Preparationof “Country by Country Report” for the Netherlands.

  • Assistwith management of tax audits.

  • Ad-Hoc tax issues.

Qualifications: 

MastersTax Lawor Masters Tax Economicsrequired.

The successful candidate will be suitably qualified, have3-5 years’ experience in aTax relatedrole.He/Shewill have advanced oral and written communication skills (including excellent Dutch & English), the ability to work well in a team environment and strong tax / accounting knowledge.
