At CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services), our mission is to protect, empower and promote independence for at-risk children and families and those with developmental disabilities through quality community-based services.

As a Case Aide, you will play an important role in the lives of the people we support.

We are currently seeking experienced and passionate Case Aide for our Prevention and Special Medical Program. The FT/R program is designed to address the safety and wellbeing of children in high-risk families living throughout the Bronx when a caretaker or child's substance use or mental health disorder places the child at risk of foster care placement or replacement. As a case aide you will supplement case planner contacts in accordance with the ACS minimum casework contact standards as directed. Assist with outreach and engagement efforts as directed. Aide in the development of comprehensive assessments.

Requirements:

  • One year of relevant work in child welfare or social services or life experience; or

  • Successful completion of an Administration for Children's Services funded prevention services program (or similar program); or

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Some knowledge of Child Welfare System and counseling experience with children and families

  • Flexibility to meet changing needs and demands

  • Fluency in Spanish and English language a Plus!!

  • Travel throughout the Bronx and to other CMCS locations is required!!
