College of Mount Saint Vincent Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Head Women's Soccer Coach in The Bronx, New York

Responsibilities:

Associate Athletic Director For Compliance

  • Administers compliance with NCAA, Skyline Conference and UMSV rules and regulations

  • Administers rules education program for Athletic Department coaches and staff.

  • Oversees the compliance of student-athletes

  • Provides oversight of all aspects of NCAA recruiting, eligibility and conduct rules.

  • Interprets NCAA rules and regulations

  • Pursues waivers and appeals with NCAA and Skyline Conference

  • Collects data for submission for NCAA and Skyline Conference reports, etc.

  • Other duties assigned by the Athletic Director

Head Coach Women’s Soccer

  • Provides leadership and supervision in all aspects of the Women’s Soccer program Including development, fundraising and community service.

  • Recruitment of student-athletes who meet the University’s admissions requirements

  • Meets annual recruiting goals as developed annually by the Athletic Director

  • Full participation in monthly staff meeting and admissions events

  • Ensures compliance with all University, Skyline Conference and NCAA rules and regulations related to recruiting, academic monitoring and eligibility

  • Collaborate with the Sports Information Director for the positive promotion of the women’s soccer program. Social media, etc.

  • Ensures the Athletic Department, University and team standards are understood and followed by the student-athletes and coaching staff

  • Works closely with the Athletic Department on any fundraising and alumni events for

  • the women’s soccer program or the department in general

  • Represents the University at any Skyline Conference meetings pertaining to women’s soccer.

  • Works within the assigned budget created by the Athletic Director for women’s soccer

  • and works with our vendors to order uniforms and equipment in a timely fashion.

  • Displays a commitment to principles of sportsmanship and ethical conduct as per the University, Athletic Department, NCAA and Skyline Conference.

  • Supervises the assistant women’s soccer coaches

  • Game manager for Winter and Spring games

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • Current CPR/AED certification.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ collegiate-level experience.

  • Strong understanding of NCAA rules and recruiting practices.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

  • Availability on weekends and evenings is necessary.
