Title: Project Manager

Reports To: Director of Operations, Indirectly reports to Senior Project Manager

Location: Houston, TX

Summary: The primary goal of the Project Manager is to demonstrate the value of our service to clients by reducing their overall cost by improving our operating efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

 Act as the communication contact (internal and external) for the project.

 Collaborate with the TS Directors to develop and implement a standard QA/QC program tailored to meet clients’ needs.

 Communicate client job expectations to the field technicians and act as technician’s main point of contact for on-the-job issues.

 Communicate client reporting and information expectations to the field technicians and maintain accountability amongst workers.

 Create summary and KPI reports for the client and analyze with a Sr. Project Manager or Director to develop recommendations for the client.

 Ensure lessons learned and customer requirements are catalogued and disseminated as appropriate.

 Validate and approve technician time and expenses, including subcontractor invoices.

 Work with accounting to assure proper/timely invoicing and financial tracking against budget or purchase orders.

 Responsible for managing 5+ direct report employees. Competencies Managing People: Delegate work assignments; give authority to work independently; set expectations and monitor delegated activities; provide regular performance feedback; develop subordinates' skills and encourage growth. Project Management: Develop, manage and coordinate project plans; prioritize and plan work activities; communicate change/progress. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; develop alternative solutions. Interpersonal Skills: Maintain confidentiality. Oral and Written Communication: Ability to read, write and speak clearly and informatively; listen and get clarification; respond well to questions; participate in meetings; demonstrate group presentation skills. Organizational Support: Follow policies, procedures, instructions and pre-determined guidelines; support organization's goals and values. Follow all BVNA QHSE policies and remain in compliance.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Associate’s Degree or commensurate field experience. 3+ years experience with Bureau Veritas / TH Hill Associates in a QA/QC field technician role Previous team management experience. P
