Summary:

We are actively seeking exemplary self-starter candidates to join CED’s Industrial Solutions Network - Manufacturing Digital Transformation business as a Marketing Manager that focuses on demand generation and customer marketing.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating demand for the software, services and hardware that drives manufacturing companies digital transformation. They will work to drive adoption, usage and retention of software and services.

They will help build awareness and communicate the value or our dedicated team that helps consult, determine, deploy, manage and expand the right solution to intelligently connect the data and systems, digitize their information and processes.

This position is tailored to candidates seeking a marketing and communications career in an evolving industry. The Marketing Manager will work with the head of the business unit to develop the strategy and our marketing and sales teams to execute that strategy and plan. The ideal candidate possesses outstanding communication skills and thrives in a fast paced, multi-faceted industry. No prior manufacturing industry experience is necessary, we help give you the information you need to know to be successful with us as we look to prepare you to lead marketing go-to-market strategies for us.

The ideal location for this role would be in Los Angeles, Portland, Omaha, Kansas City, Little Rock, Pittsburgh or Louisville.

Reports to: Managing Director - Information Solutions Business

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in the areas of marketing and development

  • Demonstrable understanding of industrial manufacturing business market space

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a related field

    ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES:

  • Work independently with minimal supervision

  • Preferably experience leading or implementing marketing strategy / execution

  • Grasp of software engineering, computer science, or a related field

  • Firm grasp of ways to develop strategic marketing campaigns

Working Conditions:

This position operates in a professional office environment and may require extended periods of sitting.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and manage the positioning, branding and messaging of the business unit and offerings

  • Owning, communicating and equipping marketing and sales with the overall go-to-market strategies

  • Helping the sales teams and growth marketing team create demand through plans, understanding and resources

  • Having a deep understanding of the SaaS market, customers and how it relates to our adoption, usage and retention of software, to build successful omni-channel campaigns and go-to-market strategy.

  • Driving awareness and demand through communication and campaigns of our offerings and team of specialists.

  • Create a marketing schedule and plan and ensure that it is properly implemented in-line with targets and objectives.

  • Develop and implement account based marketing and growth marketing strategies that drive sales pipeline.

  • Determine, drive attendance and execute presence at local trade shows, partner lead webinars and industry trade shows
