The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), a leading academic health center-McGovern Medical School invites applications for a full-time, (1.0 FTE), non-tenure clinical track for all academic levels for General (Adult & Pedi), Cardiovascular (Adult and Pedi), Orthopaedic, Pain (Chronic and Acute), Neuro and Critical Care faculty position in the Department of Anesthesiology.

Position Key Accountabilities:

Successful candidate will be responsible for teaching residents and medical students the skills and theory of these specialties.

Qualifications:

The selected candidate for the position must have a Texas Medical License or be eligible for a Texas Faculty Temporary License. Preferred board certification in Anesthesiology. Candidates should have a M.D. degree, four years of training (1 year general house staff) and 3 years of anesthesiology residency.

Candidate should possess excellent clinical skills. Simulation teaching would be a great plus.
