ROLE SUMMARY:

As the Events & Marketing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating and promoting a diverse array of events aimed at fostering community engagement and supporting the organization\'\'s mission. Reporting directly to the President & Chief Executive Officer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the success and impact of these events, while also spearheading strategic marketing initiatives to enhance visibility and reach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

EVENT MANAGEMENT:

  • Take the lead in planning, organizing, and executing various events throughout the year, including but not limited to business breakfasts, networking sessions, community forums, and celebratory gatherings.
  • Secure sponsorships to support event funding and objectives.
  • Source suitable venues and coordinate logistical arrangements
  • Curate menus and oversee catering services to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Foster positive environments conducive to networking and relationship-building at each event.
  • Develop comprehensive content and communication strategies for event promotion, invitations, and post-event follow-up.
  • Coordinate with speakers, presenters, and special guests to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Arrange necessary audio-visual equipment and signage for optimal event delivery.
  • Manage event registration processes and coordinate with finance for efficient handling of accounts receivable.
  • Monitor event budgets and provide regular reporting to the President & CEO.

MARKETING INITIATIVES:

  • Conceptualize and produce compelling content for event marketing materials, including digital assets, printed collateral, and multimedia presentations.
  • Drive engagement across various communication channels, including the organization\'\'s website, social media platforms, email newsletters, and blogs.
  • Actively manage the brand identity, ensuring consistency and resonance across all marketing materials.
  • Collaborate closely with the Partner Development team to align marketing efforts with partner recruitment and retention strategies.
  • Integrate event promotions seamlessly into broader marketing campaigns to maximize impact and participation.
  • Maintain up-to-date content on the organization\'\'s website and community calendars, serving as a central hub for community information.
  • Cultivate a vibrant social media presence with regular postings and engagement activities to enhance audience interaction and awareness.
