Amergis Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Tewksbury, MA in Tewksbury, Massachusetts

Amergis is partnered with a much respected facility in Tewksbury, MA, currently seeking CNAs to assist them on a contractual basis.

Details of the position include:

Location: Tewksbury, MA

Duration: 13 weeks to start, strong chance of extension

Facility Type: State Hospital

Shifts available:

1st Shift: 6:45am-3:15pm

2nd Shift: 2:45am-11:45pm

3rd Shift: 10:45am-7:15am

Must be able every other weekend, no requested time off in the first 13 weeks.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides exceptional nursing care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN and monitor changes in patients conditions.

  • Record all vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate ect.

  • Communicates with patients to ascertain feelings or need for assistance or social and emotional support.

  • Assist nurses aor physicians in the operation of medical equipment or provision of patient care.

  • Responds and assists in emergency codes to ensure the safe care and management of patients.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Certification as a Nurse Aide under the Massachusetts Aide Registry

  • 1 year of experience preferred

  • Experience working under supervision of an RN or LPN

  • Demonstrated competency appropriate to the age of patients served.

Start Date: Two weeks from offer
