Basic Job Functions

The Position:

Rollforming Production Associates manufactures, moves, and stores steel garage door panels to be used in the production of finished C.H.I. steel garage doors. This could include the production/movement of steel doors or other support components.

Related Job Duties:

  • Reads production lists and performs work as assigned by department supervisor or foreman.

  • Lifts, measures, saws, cuts, cleans, clips, drills, presses, forms, stamps, or otherwise manufactures the materials to produce steel garage doors and/or assemblies.

  • Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.

  • Uses automated machinery, hand tools, power tools, saws, carts, presses, forklifts, carts and other industrial equipment/machinery in the fabrication and movement of steel doors or related products.

  • Notify the supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.

  • Place finished goods in the proper area for production and assembly line use.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.

  • Other reasonably related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-year of previous general labor and/or customer service experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of previous experience in manufacturing, operating heavy machines, punch tooling, and hand tools, and have mechanical aptitude.
