    Job details:

    Essential Job Duties:

  • Oversees total operation for smooth running office

  • Performs nursing and clerical duties as appropriate.

  • Receives employee calls; i.e. absence, late, sick.

  • Represents employees at Medical Group meetings.

  • Submits annual operation and capital budget.

  • Schedules doctors’ time for meetings.

  • Assures sufficient office coverage at all times.

  • Is competent on insurance rules and regulations.

  • Clinic representative to the public.

  • Is able to manage independently.

  • Researches any new procedures which doctors request.

  • Is accessible to all employees for their needs.

  • Attends called meetings; i.e. Billing, Management, Practice Manager.

  • Participates on committees assigned or as volunteer.

  • Oversees laboratory rules are followed with the help of the Lab Manager.

  • Keeps Director of Patient Care and Practice Integration informed of office operation and personnel.

  • Prepares law suit communications for doctor with attorney.

  • Produces requested information for management in timely manner.

  • Secures PRN nurse for doctor.

  • Completes referral forms on all patients as needed.

  • Reviews medical record releases prior to copying.

  • Audits outstanding accounts as needed.

  • Promotes team atmosphere.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required (or preferred).

  • At least 3 years of management experience in a medical practice.

  • Must be accomplished in written and verbal business communications.

  • Must be skilled in medical practice and terminology.

  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-pace stressful environment.

  • Must be able to supervise both medical and clerical employees.

  • Mu st meet and deal successfully with a wide variety of people.

  • Must be able to work well under pressure.

  • Must have flexible schedule to meet the needs of the Clinic .

  • Must have exceptional follow-up skills.

    License/Certification:

  • BLS certification

  • IN RN license
