Aerotek Truss Assembler- HIRING NOW in Temple Terrace, Florida

Job Title: Skilled Laborer (Truss Assembler)

Job Description

We are looking for a Truss Assembler for our 1st shift, which runs from 6am to 2:30pm. Candidates must be open to working Saturdays as required. As a Truss Assembler, you will gather precut wood parts to build trusses or wall sections for various structure or building construction projects. You will verify the size of each precut part and then move the specific wood pieces into position by hand, forklift, or crane. Your role will also involve working in a team of three, including one lead (with previous truss building experience) and two other laborers. Pay is typically between $20 - $26 an hour, depending on experience. If candidate has lead truss assembly experience at a truss manufacturer, pay is open to $26+. All candidates must be willing to get a framing hammer and wear steel toe boots.

Hard Skills

  • Gathering precut wood parts

  • Building trusses or wall sections

  • Using a framing hammer and staple gun/nail gun
