Be part of a team as an Advanced Project Engineer with the interest, aptitude, and experience associated with the design, development, integration, and qualification of Aerospace Actuation products leading Commercial and Defense programs within our Honeywell Mechanical Systems and Components product line. You will be part of a technical project management team who will contribute to the decision making process for technical issues. You will support project management, prioritization of design goals and objectives, and help drive overall requirements verification and validation process throughout the development lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Project Management

· System and Component Requirements analysis and decomposition

· Physics based model development and system design

· Root cause and corrective action planning and execution

· Mechanical Systems validation & verification

· Technical problem solving/Root cause analysis

· Technical documentation – Test plans, procedures, and reports

· Analysis of test data results

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

· Business acumen – knowledge of current and emerging practices, methods, and information relating to discipline and application within the industry

· Mechanical/Actuation Systems design and/or component controller integration

· Experience with systems requirement flow down

· Experience with DOORs and/or Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

· Experience developing motor driven actuation systems

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

2 years of engineering in complex aerospace
