Job Summary

The Install Manager will manage all assigned staff and equipment required for field installations. This position requires a strong leader who can manage multiple projects as well as identify, develop, and implement installation process improvements to support increased capacity and expanded future services and capabilities. The incumbent works closely with other bluemedia and contractor team members to provide leadership for the safe, high-quality completion of all field installation projects. This position requires a self-starter who will bring demonstrated experience and knowledge and deliver operational excellence for all assigned projects and services. The successful candidate will be a strong team player and leader, executing to a high standard as required to meet expectations of bluemedia clients. Occasional travel may be required. This is full time, salaried-exempt position.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned team members (typically 10-20) and contractors to ensure the safe, high-quality delivery of bluemedia products and services.

  • Identify, develop, and implement processes that support continuous improvement within bluemedia field installation team.  

  • Actively participate in customer and leadership team meetings as assigned to provide subject matter expertise.

  • Lead operational improvement initiatives for field installation team.  

  • Document critical processes and provide appropriate training as required.

  • Review and ensure accuracy of weekly timecards through ADP.

  • Process and approve requests for time off through ADP.

  • Execute all duties assigned to you.

  • Ability to interface with clients, contractors, and bluemedia team members through all communication mediums and in person. Actively builds and maintains strong rapport with all involved parties.

    Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 5 - 10 years of increasing leadership responsibility, preferably within large format printing and installation or related industry.

  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing process and systems improvements.

  • Experience leading production or installation teams within medium sized company ($20-$75 million) to achieve target results and deliverables.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience within a manufacturing environment.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working directly with construction/architectural project management teams, signage manufacturing & installation, and experiential marketing projects.

  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience developing and implementing best practices and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

  • Computer skills and expertise with standard software applications such as MS Office, Corebridge, Smartsheets and others as may be required.

    Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

  • Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and ramps.

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

  • Operating light machinery and/or power tools.

  • Outdoor elements such as high/low temperatures, precipitation, and wind.

  • Travel required based on business needs.
