BURN MANUFACTURING Quality Team Leader - Ghana in Tema, Ghana

About the role

BURN is looking for a quality team leader whose role will be crucial in ensuring that our products meet or exceed established quality standards.

This position involves leading a team of quality assurance professionals and overseeing various aspects of the quality management process.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Measure and analyse quality in the assembly line, including:

  • incoming quality control on raw materials, products, and kits

  • finished goods quality control.

  • in-process quality control

  • Ensure all standard operating procedures are always adhered to on the assembly floor. 

  • Hire and train a team of casuals on their daily tasks and workstation allocation. 

  • Generate and share daily and monthly assembly and quality reports including corrective actions.

  • Oversee any rework required on the electric cookers and cookware.

  • Ensure proper segregation of defective products and proper disposition of the same.

  • Visiting local supplier facilities and observing the manufacturing environment to review and assess their procedures.

  • Facilitate communication with local suppliers when supplies don't meet quality standards.

  • Ensure all safety protocols are observed on the assembly floor. 

    Skills and Experience

  • Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

  • 2 Years experience in the related field.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Leadership Skills.

  • Adaptable and Flexible.

  • Attentive and detailed.

  • Good Communication skills.

  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills.
