This employer will be on-site conducting interviews at our Multi-Industry Job & Community Resource Fair which will be held on Thursday September 12, 2024, at the Bucks County Free Library, 401 W. Are you ready to make a difference through the art of food preparation and service? At Lutheran Community at Telford, a Grace Inspired Living community in Telford, PA, we're looking for a part-time dedicated Server/Prep Cook to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents, making their dining experiences memorable.

Two Shifts to choose from- 7am-10am or 3:30pm-7:30pm including every other weekend and every other holiday!

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Prepare the serving area for meals and special events.
  • Ensure proper stocking of serving area items.
  • Maintain food safety standards, including recording temperatures and following HACCP procedures.
  • Greet and serve food to residents, guests, and employees.
  • Interact positively with customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Clean and maintain the serving area during and after meal service.
  • Maintain proper serving temperatures and serving times.
  • Organize special events and assist customers as needed.
  • Adhere to departmental standards of dress and demonstrate effective customer service skills.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 6 months of food preparation and/or food serving experience in a continuing care retirement community or restaurant establishment.
