CDL Class A & B Drivers/Labor

As a Driver/Team Lead for Clemmer Moving and Storage your responsibilities go beyond driving a truck. You are the primary point of contact to our customers. Our drivers are expected to maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent communication to our customers and operations department. Team Leaders are also responsible for leading, supervising and managing crews to ensure the safe and seamless movement of our customer's goods carefully and pleasantly. Our goal is to make the physical relocation of our customers' goods the easiest part of their move.

Job Requirements: Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Excellent driving record Transport goods using a company truck Assist in and lead the crew in loading shipment on to and/or off of truck Perform accurate inventory of shipment Perform pre-trip safety inspections on truck of moving equipment, interior and exterior of truck, straps and tensioners, walk-boards, etc. Maintain required documentation and paperwork for shipments, expenses, driver logs, and DOT regulations Ability to lift heavy items (70lbs or more) while climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc. Comply with and help enforce the Clemmer Moving safety policy

  Working Conditions: Indoors and outdoors Lifting of objects up to 70 pounds Frequent squatting and bending Frequent use of stairs Driving for long periods of time

  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be willing to travel (local, intrastate and/or interstate) Excellent communications skills Ability to be on time and reliable; ability to meet deadlines Knowledge of DOT regulations Strong People Skills Customer Service As a family-owned business, we take a family type approach when it comes to our employees. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour
