he QNX team is looking for* Principal Developers* to develop multimedia software technologies, capabilities and solutions that meet the needs of automotive and consumer markets.

To be successful in this position you will have the following experience:

  • Thorough knowledge on Acoustic modelling of various algorithms like beam forming, noise suppression etc
  • Thorough knowledge on MATLAB / OCTAVE kind of modelling tools
  • Demonstrated expertise on building acoustic algorithms from scratch to production
  • Excellent programming skill in C/C++
  • Good knowledge on DSPs like LX3/4/5
  • debugging complex problems on SIMD DSPs
  • Automotive domain experience is a plus
  • Exposure to safety standards like ISO 26262 is a plus

You will ideally have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Strong software development skills using C
  • Technical understanding of multimedia frameworks
  • Experience with Linux and/or Android is a big asset
  • Device driver experience on any platform is an asset (DMA, interrupts, memory mapping, etc)
  • Self motivated with excellent communication skills.
