At EW Grobbel, we have been proudly delivering high quality food for 140 years.  As one of Crain’s “50 Fastest Growing Companies in Detroit,” we’re ready to be a national powerhouse.  We’re looking for a highly skilled Customer Service Advisor for our high volume business to business transactions.  This position is based in our Taylor distribution center. This position is 100% on-site.

Objectives of this Role

  • Enter and process orders received from email or EDI

  • Manage multiple customer portals and EDI portals

  • Work with warehouses and trucking companies to arrange timely delivery

  • Communicate, mostly through email, with customers on orders and product related inquiries.

  • High volume data entry and paperwork management to provide accurate and timely paperwork for each customer purchase order

  • Schedule inbound and outbound delivery appointments

  • Professionally communicate on phone with customers and consumers as needed to resolve issues

  • Other duties as assigned

    Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in high volume data entry required

  • 50+ words per minute typing speed required

  • Exceptional attention to detail required

  • Experience with Truckload and LTL shipments

  • EDI and Business to Business transaction experience

  • Prior experience with customer service

  • Proficiency in the Office 365 including Excel

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good attendance and ability to work on-site
