Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and supervise a field service team of protection and control engineers and technicians.

  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment to encourage innovation and efficiency.

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members to enhance their technical skills and professional development.

Project Coordination:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of protection and control projects.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Develop and implement project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation plans.

Technical Expertise:

  • Knowledge of protection and control systems to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies to enhance the team's technical capabilities.

  • Provide technical guidance on the design, testing, and implementation of protection and control schemes.

System Optimization:

  • Collaborate with system operators and maintenance teams to optimize protection and control settings for improved system reliability.

  • Conduct regular assessments of protection systems to identify opportunities for enhancements and upgrades.

  • Implement and oversee testing procedures to ensure the proper functioning of protection and control equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in Electrical, Automation & Control Engineering or Computer Sciences.

  • Understanding of Electrical Substations Process and Equipment (Field Equipment)

  • Understanding of Electrical Substations Instrument Equipment (VTs, CTs. AVRs, etc..)

  • Understanding of Brazilian Regulation Standards for Substation Automation, P&C Systems (ONS Modules)

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Positive Mindset and Resilience.

  • Willingness to learn and share knowledge.

  • Fluent Portuguese proficiency.

  • Advanced English proficiency.

  • Advanced Spanish proficiency.

  • Available for Traveling.
