What is the job about?

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lean Expert to play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement and digital transformation within our organization. The ideal candidate will leverage their subject matter expertise and technical/business insight to support and lead various projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and fostering a Lean culture. This role requires collaboration across multiple departments and units, with responsibilities that include process consultancy, project management, and leadership in Lean initiatives.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Continuous Improvement (CI) Project Management: Oversee and manage complex CI projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.

  • Lean Expertise: Provide expert support to factory management by utilizing tools such as QRQC, VSM, Lean Line Design, and the Grundfos Production System (GPS).

  • Digitalization Leadership: Lead and champion the digital transformation journey, acting as an ambassador and super user for new digital tools. This includes reporting and conducting surveys using digital platforms.

  • CI Planning and Execution: Develop and implement CI plans at the factory level, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Resource Management: Estimate costs, allocate resources, and monitor project phases to ensure targets are met.

  • Leadership in CI Initiatives: Conduct CI meetings, lead Kaizen workshops, and manage Step Change projects, regularly reporting progress to internal and external stakeholders.

  • GPS Project Leadership: Lead local GPS projects, ensuring alignment with Lean principles.

  • Team Management: Motivate and guide production team members to foster a strong CI culture and ensure a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.

• 4-6 years of relevant experience, ideally within a large manufacturing environment.

• Strong expertise in SAP, MS Office tools, Power BI, and Power Apps.

• Proven experience in process improvement and project management.

• Excellent English and Hungarian proficiency.

• Strong influencing and leadership skills.
