Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc is seeking an Associate Scientist (Tarrytown, NY) to conduct analytical method qualification for late-stage drug development programs and develop mass spectrometry technologies to support Regeneron's R&D programs. Develop innovative LC-MS based analytical methods to support the development of therapeutic proteins and investigations of unusual product quality attributes. Complete LC-MS-based experiments (e.g. peptide mapping, host cell protein analysis etc.) Collaborate in a cross functional team as a SME in analytics on specific projects/programs. Perform analytical method qualification supporting late-stage therapeutic protein development programs. Perform LC-MS data analysis using various software and bioinformatic tools to elucidate the quality attributes of therapeutic proteins. Document experiments, results and findings in electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) entries; present data at group and project meetings; write technical reports, and regulatory filing reports, etc. Summarize results in a concise format (graphs, figures, tables, etc.) to support presentations, peer-reviewed publications, and regulatory documents, etc. Local telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.Job Requirements:Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field and 1 year of laboratory experience. Must have experience with: Advanced analytical chemistry techniques, including HPLC, FPLC, mass spectrometry, spectroscopy, and chromatography; Analyzing complex datasets from experimental research using relevant analytical software and tools to extract valuable insights and draw conclusions from experimental results; Protein separation and characterization skills, including protein extraction, immunoaffinity capture, western blot and protein labeling; Handling biological samples such as serum, tissues and other related samples; Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and communicating research findings; and Basic understanding of (pre)clinical development of therapeutic drug with exposure to the processes, regulations, and protocols.
