You will be responsible for:
Performs, supervises, assigns, and inspects work of maintenance
Determines materials, equipment, and supplies to be used
Maintains a current inventory
Inspects all major contract work
Coordinates, inspects, operates, and maintains the heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
What will you need?
Computer skills required (Microsoft Word).
Exceptional organizational skill required.
Ability to have flexible work hours based on job assignment completion.
Needs to be extremely discreet due to access to sensitive items.
Needs to be self-motivated.
Knowledge of ordering parts and supplies related to building maintenance and repairs.
Ability to prioritize assignments.
Working knowledge of regulatory requirements from JCAHO, AHCA, OSHA, NFPA and other health care related agencies.
Air conditioning (Preferred)
High School Diploma
2 years’ experience in health care engineering OR (If Applicable): Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully accomplish the assigned duties and responsibilities of the position.
Associates Degree or Professional Certification in Related Fields (Preferred)
5 years' experience in health care engineering (Preferred)
Valid Florida driver's license
OSHA's 40 hour Hazardous Waste and Operation (Preferred)
OSHA's 8 hour General Industry Certification (Preferred)
