Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives. They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers. They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.

We are currently looking for a Logisitics Analyst who will be responsible for deploying Regional transportation strategies as defined by the management, ensuring a deep follow up with Carriers included driving leverage of the operational activities and spends as well as optimizing the transportation networks.

They will also drive and manage regular daily, weekly and monthly reviews with supply chain team, KPI’s setup, follow up and seek for opportunities to optimize loading the transportation lead times and costs in collaboration with Glog team

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day transportation operations between TE sites ( Inter & Intra ) and also suppliers to optimize loading

  • Interact with Planners and give necessary guidance for cost optimization

  • Establish a weekly follow up with Glog team to address open issues

  • Analyse the existing flows/modes and seek for optimization opportunities.

  • Manage & Control Transportation Costs, Forecast & KPI’s processes for North Africa operations in collaboration with GLOG & Business partners.

  • Interact and collaborate with Transportation teams and Business partners in North Africa & EMEA.

Experience and Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years experience in Transportation Management.

  • Internal management experience, ability to work in multi-cultural team

  • Project leadership experience

  • Good communicator at all levels in the business

  • Knowledge in key Microsoft Applications such as Excel, Outlook, Power Point

  • SAP

  • Local language, English fluent
