PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR III

JOB OVERVIEW

The position isresponsible for production and quality withfocus on productivity and building systems. Getting involved in productionising new products. Coordinate with operators and engineers to implement TEOA tools. To ensure 5S+1 level at all time at highest level. Maintaining shop discipline is more essential.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

  1. Responsible for issuing production orders to floor.

  2. Upkeeping the machines in running conditions.

  3. Ensure availability of materials on time.

  4. Responsible for head count allocation in shop.

  5. Escalate production stoppages to all concerned stakeholders.

  6. Ensure timely delivery of orders.

  7. Educate and train operators.

  8. Multi skilling among the operators

  9. Coordinating with inter-department

  10. Drive TEOA culture in shop floor.

  11. Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineer for new product development and process improvement.

  12. Assessing resource requirements

  13. Material variance /Consumable/Chemical tracking

  14. Conducting Go meeting /PIM meeting-Review with Group leaders

  15. Review of TEOA deployment

  16. Ensure labour productivity of the function.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any Engineering Courses

  2. 10+ Years of Experience and practitioner in the field of Production

  3. People Management, Business Unit Product Knowledge, and Leadership Skills

  4. SAP knowledge is an edge.

  5. Product Process Control knowledge

  6. Has knowledge in Planning, Leading, Organizing and Controlling

  7. Willing to be assign in either Molding or Stamping Department

Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Molding Teams operate assigned automated molding machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
