Job Overview

The position is to manageProduction, Quality & Delivery on time Working with ME & Technician team to Implement Kaizen / Poka-Yoke technics in production line to improve productivity and quality, Push or guide operators to achieve set line targets

Key Responsiblities

  1. Maintain Shop discipline, Absenteeism, unnecessary movements of operators.

  2. Responsible for Production, Quality & Delivery on time

  3. Allotment of work for operators

  4. Ensure Material availability for present & next PO

  5. Optimum utilization of human resources.

  6. Overtime work recommendation/planning during production criticality.

  7. Ensure housekeeping of M/c’s & Work centres.

  8. Ensure Material variances within specified limit.

  9. Return of in-process & by-product scrap.

  10. Timely closure of NCA's

  11. Updating of daily production status board.

  12. Verification of UT, Scrap sheet.

  13. Coordinate with ME for Training & Certification.

  14. Updating of Skill matrix (safety products), in coordination with ME.

  15. Poka-yoke & kaizen implementation & Participation

  16. 5S+1 auditing in coordination with core member.
