Eaton Corporation Senior Finance Analyst in Tanauan City, Philippines

What you’ll do:

Reports to the Plant Controller, this position is responsible for daily supervision and leadership of FP&A team. Coordinate the annual profit and strategic plan preparations, complete monthly forecasting & reporting, and provide insightful analysis to plant management & division for decision-making. Supervise the monthly closing process, review journal entries and balance sheet accounts, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting. Lead the full fixed asset management and coordination with shared service support (GFSS). Supervise the annual physical inventory, standards cost updates, and year-end reporting. Manage and champion ad hoc projects as needed. The Senior Finance Analyst will also help identify and develop new talents as well as develop existing staff. Liaison with other functions and drive to meet the goals

  • Complete the monthly forecasting process by compiling local forecasting models and loading the data into corporate forecasting system

  • Coordinate and support all departments in various matters, i.e.profit plan preparation and problem solving.

  • Conduct MBR and BSR reports for management review on timely basis.

  • Analyze plant cost and expense structure to drive cost out opportunity.

  • Fixed Assets management including timely booking, review, analysis, and process control.

  • Direct improvements in processes when applicable through the implementation of new technology and/or improved procedures.

  • Support controller on various audit work, i.e. internal audit, external audit, CSC, SOX audit

  • Ensure submission and accuracy of all month-end reports.

  • Analyze feasibility of a project.

  • Coach team members and improve overall finance team competence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management. Master’s degree or professional certification is desired (CPA or MBA preferred).

  • More than five years working experience at senior level in a plant manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in managing all financial aspects of an organization, excellent analytical skills, full knowledge and experience in general accounting cycle, including budget preparation, profit planning and capital expenditure management, strong cost accounting background

Skills:

  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, Encore, is a plus.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, good team work spirit.

  • Excellent English ability on both oral and writing
