Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensures compliance with the rules and regulations of the Philippine Government in Environment, Health, and Safety. These government rules and regulations include but are not limited to the regulations of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

  • Ensures implementation and employee's compliance with the RTX/Collins Aerospace Health, Safety, and Environment requirements.

  • Champions site Environment, Health, & Safety (EHS) Culture, leading safety culture-building activities across the facility.

  • Responsible for EHS Communication to all employees, across different communication channels.

  • Responsible for ensuring all required EHS policies, programs, and instructions are updated and fully deployed.

  • Acts in advisory capacity on all matters pertaining to safety and environment.

  • Conducts incident investigations, reporting and analysis.

  • Assist in the maintenance of an efficient incident recording systems and checks actions taken by supervisors to eliminate accident causes.

  • Coordinates and facilitates EHS training programs designed for Collins Aerospace employees' needs.

  • Conducts regular safety and environment audit, inspection, and walk-through.

  • Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the management from time to time.

  • Adheres to and participates in all EHS practices and standard across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommending measures to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Preferably an Engineering graduate.

  • At least two (2) years of experience in Environmental, Health or Safety in a manufacturing environment or a combination of those functions. Preferably with experience on Warehouse safety.

  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a matrix environment, get results and drive change through others including working with senior leaders.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills as well as planning and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage by influence through solid relationships and process focus.
