Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Department: Distribution
Reports to: Distribution Manager
Position Summary/Objective
The Warehouse Associate position is responsible for accurately picking and packing our products, and assisting with shipping and inventory.
Essential Functions
Understand all product descriptions on the customers Pick List
Operate lift or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
Unpack, examine and route incoming and outgoing shipments, reject damaged items, and record shortages.
Pulls and packs customer orders from computerized device and/or carton labels.
Pick product for orders, while packing product in correct area and stocking warehouse appropriately.
Load/unload incoming/outgoing trucks.
Operate the forklift.
Assemble, weigh and prepare orders for shipment through carrier.
Prepares shipping containers, boxes and trays.
Reviews box quantity for maximum shipment quality and efficiency.
Reviews and verifies final carton count to ensure overall order accuracy.
Ensures accuracy of inventory through accurate daily order processing.
Adheres to work schedule including prompt and regular attendance.
Complete other work assignments and projects as requested.
