Citigroup Performance Management Project Manager - VP (Hybrid) in Tampa, Florida

The Performance Management Project Manager will be part of Global Total Rewards in Citi’s Human Resources organization. They will proactively help drive program goals and assist with management of compliance, controls, analytics, continuous risk monitoring, and Internal Audit / regulatory inquiries related to the development and execution of Citi’s Employee Performance Management and Accountability Framework disciplines.

Responsibilities:

  • Support risk reduction efforts through execution of tasks and timely completion of deliverables.

  • Provide program visibility, action planning, and issue management of related regulatory and management control initiatives. This is a global role that will collaborate with senior leaders and their teams across multiple businesses and functions as well as second and third lines of defense.

  • Partner with stakeholders to design, implement and monitor remedial action plans in support of regulatory requirements/commitments, Consent Order (CO) initiatives and self-identified issues.

  • Assist with management, monitoring, and help define Manager’s Control Assessments (MCAs), contribute to Quarterly Risk Assessment (QRA)/Annual Risk Assessment (ARA) reporting.

  • Lead continuous risk monitoring initiatives across various systems and platforms.

  • Coordinate analytics, drive innovation to develop and maintain resourceful dashboards.

  • Prepare and present recurring updates for team/stakeholders regarding remediation/monitoring progress and issues to identify emerging risks.

  • Assist with review of regulatory changes and assess the impact and implications to Businesses/Functions to determine applicability to the programs.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and ‘connect the dots,’ be detail-oriented, and manage competing priorities including emerging risks to deliver solutions in an effective control environment.

  • Ability to build strong partnerships and influence key partners to achieve business objectives; must be able to work well with geographically dispersed multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Strong investigative and analytical skills for issue identification, implementation, and tracking of effective remediation, and design of sustainable controls/processes.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders including developing multiple approaches to solve issues and providing concise recommendations.

  • Proven ability to fully own and independently run assigned workstreams while maintaining clear and robust communications with leadership and stakeholders; ability to support multiple projects, and/or assignments concurrently.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5+ years of professional experience in Risk Management, Compliance, Regulatory Engagement, or related field.

  • Ability to navigate a complex organization.

  • Must possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective negotiation skills, a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues and strength in sustaining independent views.

  • Experience with large data sets and sensitive information.

  • Effective communication (written and oral), reporting, presentation and influencing skills. Proven ability to author clearly written communications for senior management.

  • Must possess proficiency with Microsoft Office suite to include SharePoint.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
