J ob Summary

Bern's Steak House (https://bernssteakhouse.com) is looking for a professional pastry assistant who can prep, cook and plate all menu items according to our standards. You will be required to work production shifts as well as line/plating shifts. 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, late nights and holidays 

  • Prep station with all necessary items for plating 

  • Prepare and plate all items according to Chefs' standards

  • Ensure production quality of all products in high volume fine dining restaurant

  • Maintain cleanliness of station throughout the entire shift

  • Maintain safety standards at all times

    Qualifications and Skills

  • Attention to detail  

  • Must work well with others

  • Must work quickly in a safe and effective manner

  • Need to have consideration for guests and maintain a professional demeanor as this is an open station visible to guests

  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume restaurant setting
