As a Financial Crimes Compliance Coverage Strategy and Analytics Data and Change Management Vice President on our Global Financial Crimes Compliance (GFCC) team, you will work with sector, regional and core colleagues, as well as directly with Lines of Business (LOBs) to support data and change management-related needs of our Coverage Strategy and Financial Crime Analytics teams. GFCC is comprised of the core functions (KYC, Sanctions, Risk Assessment, Investigations and Transaction Monitoring), business-aligned teams and regional teams.
Job Responsibilities
Build and maintain adequate change management protocols, as well as data quality governance and data owner governance approaches
Work with Coverage Strategy, Financial Crime Analytics, and GFCC Advisory teams to understand monitoring needs and work with Compliance Technology to identify requirements that support the implementation of monitoring strategies; work with team members who are responsible for building and maintaining AML transaction monitoring and analytics products as well as key stakeholders in CCOR, LOB Chief Data Offices, Compliance and LOB Technology teams
Coordinate a firm-wide governance program focusing on change management activities with LOBs and other Corporate functions as specific to transaction monitoring and analytics
Provide oversight of GFCC data and supporting firmwide data governance strategy
Challenge lines of business to implement and maintain robust data controls and governance frameworks
Conduct data classification, data quality item review and prioritization, data retention and destruction, storage, and protection
Collaborate with firmwide data governance strategy will include creation/maintenance of data contracts and data store inventories, creation/maintenance of data dictionaries, and data lineage
Develop and maintain standards, programs, and procedures in support of Change Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Ownership expectations
Serve as a liaison between GFCC and other departments, driving improvements in data integration and communication and as a critical partner to business units, questioning and challenging existing data practices to ensure alignment with financial crime prevention strategies
Support project plans and deliverables often tied to regulatory commitments; participate in the development of goals and execution of strategies within the function or department
Organize deliverables, present and draft documentation for senior management discussions, regulatory exams and audits
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
Bachelor's degree
7+ years of relevant experience in Compliance, Strategy, Analytics, Data and Change Management
Ability to communicate data quality and change management monitoring strategy to senior stakeholders and communicate deliverables and requirements in a clear and concise manner
Ability to establish and enforce data standards to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of financial data
Ability to provide insights and recommendations to improve anti-financial crime strategies
Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
Experience working with product, technology, and/or operations teams and processes at a major financial institution
Familiarity with change management approaches in the financial services sector
Proven experience operating under a strict regulatory environment, preferably in a large financial institution
Knowledge of data quality processes
Experience working with varied stakeholders to build and maintain governance processes
