Citigroup Cash & Trade Proc Assoc Analyst 2- Citi Private Bank (Tampa, FL) in Tampa, Florida
The Cash & Trade Proc Assoc Analyst 2 is an entry level role responsible for processing client financial transactions. The unit is responsible for the timely execution of 500 to 1000 wire payments/day for Private Bank clients as well as investigating/resolving inquiries, including escalating issues, as required. The candidate will be primarily responsible for confirming the authenticity of client instructions in accordance with Manual Payment Policy guidelines, specifically, callback validation of client instructions. The position requires extensive interaction with clients, business partners and offshore/onshore team members. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, high volume, multifaceted processing environment.
Authenticate client instructions by confirming authorized signatory and performing client callbacks validations.
Maintain complete online audit trail of validation activity and uploaded supporting documentation as part of the product processor transaction record.
Strict adherence to all internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Provide Back-up support across Banking Operations functions as daily volumes dictate.
Ensure timely transaction execution in accordance with processing standard
Gather and track activity volumes for MIS reporting.
Investigate and resolve inquiries related to processing
Support O&T Ops Transformation initiative to reduce manual touch points by challenging the status quo
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Demonstrated cash and trade operations experience & knowledge
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfortable with data entry
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
