The Business Architecture Senior Lead Analyst is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Business Architecture is a dynamic strategic organization at the forefront of the Citi Transformation efforts. We act as a catalyst across businesses and functions driving the transformation of Citi into a simpler, customer-centric organization. We are responsible for partnering with business lines and functions in establishing the framework that supports the execution of Citi’s simplification program(s), which include developing enterprise-wide domain taxonomies, publishing standard playbooks and procedures, as well as creating process and design engineering models. We also provide the businesses and functions with

ongoing governance, program oversight, metrics and reporting to ensure consistency, control, and accountability as it relates to the program. We partner with the business to develop the frameworks that are the foundations of everything we do.

This is a role within the Enterprise Architecture team supporting the execution of CEAM (Citi Enterprise Architecture Methodology) across the organization. It is an opportunity to support the organizations immediate and long-term transformational activities impacting all sectors within Citi to:

Leverage CEAM to provide a framework to review transformations /projects across the enterprise through a common set of architecture principles and consistently monitor key architectural metrics across the enterprise.

Maximize straight-through processing and minimize manual inputting and adjustments.

Simplify and consolidate applications with common functionalities, eliminate disparate systems and strengthen data quality controls.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a champion, educator, and envoy of the Citi Enterprise Architecture Methodology (CEAM) and its adoption across the organization.

  • Build a thorough understanding of CEAM, including enterprise-wide business process, function, and data Controlled Vocabularies, and the alignment to CEAM artefacts and activities.

  • Identify, build, and manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels in support of the development and adoption of CEAM across multiple sector - to support consent order deliverables.

  • Assists in defining strategic direction and setting business architecture standards covering Business Architecture & Transformation applications across Citi businesses, products, functions and locations

  • Participates in assessing and incorporating ongoing business and regulatory needs into the Business Architecture & Transformation business architecture.

  • Contributes to creating a standard Business Architecture Technology Process through the collation and assessment of major Business Initiatives in conjunction with Business and Technology leads.

  • Supporting various sectors end-to-end plan(s) for CEAM artifacts, working across all CEAM workstreams and with relevant stakeholders to obtain comprehensive commitments and drive the work to completion ensuring consistency across all sector related CEAM artefacts applying/recommending ongoing updates to keep the Sector Business Architecture for CEAM current with changing business, technology and regulatory frameworks andenvironments publishing and communicating changes to key stakeholders.Business Architecture for CEAM representing BA in various forums in support of the groups consent order deliverables

  • Help drive effective and efficient processes and governance activities to help enhance the controls, change management and attestation process(es) related to CEAM workstreams.

  • Manage and support ongoing, continuous improvement efforts including both “BAU” and broader, strategic transformation.

  • Actively mitigate delivery risks and resolve critical issues and execute against multiple contending priorities simultaneously.

  • Mediate stakeholder conflicts and overcome organizational roadblocks. Make recommendations for and drive improvements – both short-term and long term.

  • Contributes to the global implementation of common data and data standards, common processes and integrated technology platforms

  • Participates in creating effective and efficient processes and governance

  • Assists in enabling a foundational reporting infrastructure across Citi businesses and global functions by ensuring consistency within Business Architecture

  • Partners with various sponsors and global process owners & their teams

  • Owns reference data to support consistent reporting structure

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with related work

Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
