The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining records of materials in inventory and on order. Monitors reorder points and initiates action to replenish stock. Reconciles discrepancies in inventories and notifies supervisor of irregularities.   This role is critical to our organization because                                                        Whirlwind’s goal is to provide fabricated structures for families, congregations and businesses, in the most efficient manner while maintaining a safe work environment. The role of the Inventory Control Clerk is crucial to the overall manufacturing process of our products.   Job Responsibilities In this role, you are responsible for:   * Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems. * Performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports. * Keeps Oracle up to date with pertinent shipping and receiving information * Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves. * Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures. * Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers.     Job Qualifications The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualifications:   * Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent. * Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control. * Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data. * Ability to analyze and solve problems. * Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork. * Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods. * Clerical, oracle, word processing, and/or office skills. * Forklift operation experience * Must be able to speak, read, and write English fluently
